I think the Evil Minion is looking like a close knockoff of a DM6. I mean the Minion's Milling is a little bit different.. but it seems like both are similar. Are the parts interchangable or something? Just thought i'd share..

The lineage is quite clear. I think it's not uncommon to see quite a bit of "borrowing" across marker brands. Many people in several discussion boards will comment on the subtle differences (and major similarities) between the Dye, Proto and (less so) Evil markers.

well dye and proto are technically the same company so similarties are bound to be seen in their products

But it's Evil. Or is Evil a branch of Proto?

For what it's worth ... www.pbreview.com/products/reviews/4394There are several posts and comments relating the Evil minion to the Dye/Proto design. "It's just a proto with an evil body". Anyway, i think it's a nice high end marker for the money.

the whole deal here is that evil basicly asked proto/dye if they could put out a private lable version of the proto matrix as they did with the new evil shocker so that is why the design is so similar also the minion is super light from what i hear they shaved alot of weight off the alreadt weightless proto
