Hello guys! I have a 98 custom here and I plan on taking the vertical front grip completely off. I bought an opsgear clip, but I can't stand the extra weight on my marker. So I have decided to remove the grip completely and attach a weaver rail onto the bottom of where it was previously. I am using a dremmel to cut the grip off from the body. Also any other ideas for it while I am at the modding of my gun. Stuff needed with internals removed: Before: During: After (haven't sanded it down yet, and the weaver rail is not on yet) Finished product: Some of the JB Weld needs to be sanded down, and it still needs a paintjob to take care of that bare aluminum finish.. -gun

Added another tac rail to the top of the marker, and added a custom foregrip. What do you think?

I have to cut a hole in the side of the shroud. It will be the Qloader 98 kit 90 degree elbow, so once I attach the weaver rail straight again, I will definatly "git 'er dun!"

I just finished mine. I bought a bi-pod and a A-5 A2 foregrip to put on. While i was cutting out the insides of my foregrip the plastic cracked. I'm going to try to put it back together and then tap and hole so it will screw over the rail. But i also bought the NcStar AR-15 Bi-pod. It kinda suks. It works good but doesnt go on the rail. It goes in only about 2 notches. Ill cut it down to work good. Thanks for the help on this/
